You Told Me to Develop Civilian Tech, So I Bankrupted Eagle Sauce’s Treasury

Liu Zhongyuan obtains a black-tech System. Developing civilian technology earns him rewards.

Whenever a new technology is put into use, he can pass off soon-to-be-obsolete products as cutting-edge technology and sell them to countries that aren't allies. The reward doubles if he swindles them out of money.

As a result, the nation's civilian technology advances to a ridiculous degree.

Private company: "We need a civilian cargo ship. Why did you build a space carrier to transport cargo?"

Technology Bureau: "You said you only work on civilian technology, but you've built a space elevator and an interstellar fleet? Hm, you really understand civilian applications."

Liu Zhongyuan: "I'm working on interstellar tourism. I use the space elevator to take customers up for sightseeing. What's wrong with that? And if we're traveling between stars, isn't it only natural to have a fleet escort us?"

Freedom Nation: "Fraud! You've already developed super AI, but you passed off your soon-to-be-obsolete mid-level AI as the latest technology and sold it to us."

Foreign media: "He keeps ripping us off with obsolete products. He's utterly immoral!"

Liu Zhongyuan: "Don't slander me! In my country, those are indeed obsolete products. But in your countries, they're advanced, since you're so far behind. You agree with me, right?"

Kangaroo Nation: "He's killing us and twisting the knife!"
