Showbiz: You Tore Up My Script, and Still Expect Me to Make You Money?

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Su Yu gets fired by Yang Mi from the start. To make matters worse, his script is torn up!

Fortunately, Director Yan sees potential in the torn-up script and signs Su Yu as a director for an astronomical fee.

A few months later, Charlotte's Troubles hits theaters and shoots straight to the top of the box office. Su Yu wins Best Director.

When Yang Mi, who fired Su Yu, hears about it, she can hardly believe it. Now her studio is on the verge of closing down.

With no other choice, she goes back to Su Yu and begs him to return.

Yang Mi: "Su Yu, come back. I need you!"

Su Yu: "Sorry, I'm making a movie. I can't spare the time!"

Su Yu politely turns her down and instead teams up with Yang Mi's archenemies, Shishi and Tang Yan.

A few months later, Shishi and Tang Yan use their new drama to outshine Yang Mi and knock her off the Golden Eagle stage.

Only then does Yang Mi realize that Su Yu did all of this on purpose.

He just wanted to watch her make a fool of herself!

Crushed by despair, a generation's leading actress disappears from the public eye.

Sometimes Yang Mi wonders: if she hadn't fired Su Yu back then,

would she be the one making the most money now?
