The Year the Demon King Was Beaten So Badly He Forgot How to Fight Back

At the top of the world stood fourteen extraordinary beings: seven angels and seven demons, each bearing a title bestowed upon them by the System. The seven archangels and seven Demon Kings represented the opposing forces of good and evil. The fourteen mightiest beings who received these titles took on their respective duties, quietly watching over the entire Great Thousand World to preserve its balance. One day, an evil idea spread among the Demon Kings. If they destroyed enough worlds, all the Minor Worlds would meet their end. When those worlds returned to pure energy, they could absorb it through a secret technique. The vast energy they gained could be used to break through the System and escape the bonds of the Great Thousand World. This realm was even more powerful than the fifth tier of godhood, and they called their plan the World-Destroying Chain. To prevent the world's destruction, the archangel Sariel and the Demon King Lucifer made their plans at the cost of their lives, relying on Li Yuanji, who had been blessed with the fortune of the Great Thousand World, and every other resource at their disposal to stop the Demon Kings. Destroying the world, saving the world. Two entirely different purposes, two opposing factions. Their actions would determine the life and death of the countless beings in the Great Thousand World.
