I'm in Konoha, So Why Am I Fighting Crime?

In the 47th year of Konoha, everyone said it was the best year in Konoha's history of public security.

Yagami Bai made an indelible contribution to that.

Because he... was arrested!

After transmigrating into the world of Hokage, Yagami Bai used all kinds of methods to befriend the ninjas around him and establish ties of mutual interest with the major clans.

He climbed up step by step from poverty, finally reaching Konoha's upper ranks and becoming one of its most influential figures.

He secretly controlled everything in Konoha and divided the spoils with the major clans...

During the war, something went wrong with Konoha's military supplies, and Yagami Bai was arrested and imprisoned. Everyone thought this was the year Konoha's public security was at its best, and that Konoha would stride energetically into its next stage.

However...

Ever since Yagami Bai was arrested, Hiruzen Sarutobi wore a worried expression every day.

There were problems with collecting supplies,

problems with the economic reserves,

and constant conflicts within Konoha that could not be resolved.

Hiruzen Sarutobi realized that Konoha... had stopped functioning!

Many years later, the Akatsuki attacked.

Yagami Bai: "Kisame, go back and tell Tobi I want to eat fish."
