I Told You to Play an Immortal, Not to Descend to Earth as One

Song Dongchen was the unsung master of acting at Beijing Film Academy, a professor at the acting school who was as renowned as Huang Lei.

He was the dream man of countless actresses in the industry, the one they openly professed their love for regardless of his age.

Liu Yifei: "Uncle Song is a devoted man, and a carefree, unrestrained Sword Immortal who loves his wine."

Dilraba: "The Uncle Song in my heart is the most handsome Erlang Shen, Yang Jian: a man of honor, loyalty, and compassion."

Zhao Liying: "Uncle Song is the serene and transcendent immortal of Changliu, always acting for the good of the world."

Yang Mi: "... Song Dongchen is mine. None of you are taking him from me."

His arrival redefined what it meant to be breathtakingly beautiful.

Chen Guanxi: "Me? I should be the only man whose looks could threaten Song Dongchen's!"

Louis Koo: "Whether it's White Gu or Dark Gu, everyone looks utterly ordinary next to Song Dongchen."

Barbie Hsu: "If I couldn't have Song Dongchen, I could only give up on myself and marry Bald Qiang."

Gu Long: "Of all the people in this world, only Jiang Wei, Di Long, and Song Dongchen are worthy of playing the protagonists in my novels."

He was a legend, and a myth.
