Insectoid Technology! You Call This Overtaking on a Curve?

Genius biologist Chen Zhuo was reborn and chose to join the weapons department at the National University of Defense Technology.

Chen Zhuo knew all too well that eight years later, Huaxia would detect an alien fleet heading toward Blue Star for the first time. Thirteen years after that, an alien insectoid fleet would reach Blue Star, igniting the first interstellar war in the Solar System!

Humanity would win a costly victory, only to discover in despair that the forces they'd defeated were merely the insectoids' vanguard.

Huaxia would then make active preparations for war and do everything it could to replicate and develop insectoid technology. The other allied nations, meanwhile, wouldn't just refuse to help; they'd actively get in the way!

"In this life, I'll build the most powerful insectoid weapons and help Huaxia become the world's dominant power!"

"Then I'll gather the world's resources and defeat our enemies!"

Chen Zhuo went on to develop a mantis exoskeleton, a stag-beetle all-terrain tank, spider-shaped combat mechs, dragonfly flapping-wing fighters, beehive drones, and a mothership-class aerospace carrier.

During a military exercise, America looked at the Huaxian forces on screen and cried out:

"You're still on Blue Star, and you've already developed insectoid technology?"
