Showbiz: You Asked Me to Make Up the Numbers, Not Go Completely Off the Rails

Lu Ding transmigrates to a parallel world and joins an entertainment company full of big names.

The company assigns him to take part in a certain talent show just to make up the numbers.

The other contestants are showing off their talents onstage, including a top star from his own company.

Everyone in the audience assumes he's just going to perform like the other contestants. But who could have guessed that Lu Ding would go up there and start acting crazy, leaving all the judges and audience stunned.

“When I was very, very little, I was kidnapped and taken to a remote mountain village,”

“In that village, they subjected me to inhuman abuse.”

The judges onstage all look furious.

Watching the situation spiral out of control, his agent thinks it's all over.

But then Lu Ding abruptly changes his tune and says to himself, “My life really was miserable. Too bad I was just pretending...”

Just as the host and judges are about to tell him to leave,

he belts out “Torture,” a high note piercing everyone's eardrums!
