The Illicit Financial Industry

The appeal of finance is like having a porter carry pork for you.

The pig is still the same pig, and the meat is still the same meat. Nothing has been shorted.

The porter gets paid for his hard work, and his hands get covered in grease.

People who work in finance are porters of money.

They can help people make a comeback or add the finishing touch to success.

But they can also kick people when they're down and break the final straw that holds them up.
