System: I Told You to Be a Soldier, Not a King

This world is on the brink of recovery. Supplies are scarce, and there is no internet or technology!

The Japanese bandits are eyeing the country from outside, while people at home are going hungry!

-

It was at this time that Wang Dadi sent his son off to join the army. He thought that once this period was over, he'd have his son retire from the military, find a wife, and give him a chubby grandson. Who could have guessed...

"What? Wang Zhan improved the corn seeds that yield eight hundred jin per mu?"

"What? Wang Zhan invented the tiller too?"

"What? Wang Zhan isn't leaving the army! He wants to be a soldier for life? I'll never have a grandson!"

-

After inheriting his family's run-down restaurant, Wang Zhan obtains the Food System.

But the very next second, he transmigrates into the body of a new recruit in an unknown world.

At first, he carefully studies the art of cooking, but soon the missions issued by the System grow stranger and stranger!

Help Auntie Zhao's corn grow silks, help Grandpa Liu's cow produce milk, repair Uncle Chen's tractor...

After a long silence, Wang Zhan finally says, "System, I misjudged you. You're a sesame-filled system disguised as a food system, but really you're here to enrich the country and strengthen its people!"
