I Brought AlphaGo Along to Start a Go Coaching Class!

Third-rate Go player Yu Yingzhe brings the Alpha* System with him as he transmigrates to a parallel world.

In this world, Go is wildly popular, with countless Go clubs everywhere, but the level of play is stuck in the 1980s and 1990s. It has yet to experience the crushing impact of the AI era!

A Go player in his previous life, Yu Yingzhe doesn't want to use Alpha* to take the face-slapping route, so he strikes out in a different direction and starts a Go tutoring class to spread knowledge of the game.

“Who says you can't play the first move on the Tengen point? Come on, I'll teach you. This move is called Heaven and Earth as One!”

“Today I'll teach you the 3-3 invasion joseki! Come on, repeat after me: when in doubt, invade at 3-3!”

“The Great Avalanche joseki? The most complex and dangerous joseki? Hmm... They haven't phased this one out yet?”

The experts stare in disbelief. “You can play Go like that?”

Yu Yingzhe nods calmly. “That's how you play Go.”

The Huaxia Go Association: “Please, stop teaching and come represent our country!”
