Showbiz: I Slacked Off on Variety Shows, Now the Whole Internet Begs Me to Debut

Shen Fei transmigrates to a parallel world where livestreaming dominates and entertainment reigns supreme. Someone recruits him to debut on a boy band survival show called From Day One to Debut.

They had agreed on the terms beforehand: he only had to kill time for a few days. He never expected that before long, the entire internet would be begging him to debut.

To slack off and get eliminated, he takes the choreography taught to him by the production team and changes it without permission, turning it into a chaotic mashup of dance moves to the music, complete with two backflips.

To his surprise, netizens vote his dazzling performance into second place in popularity. He fails to get eliminated.

To lower his popularity ranking, he sings a sweet girl-group song in a standard macho voice. Instead, netizens adore him, and he holds on to the number-one spot. He fails to get eliminated again.

To find another way out of the show, he livestreams his artistic talent, hand-drawing currency and even figuring out color-shifting ink. The whole internet panics.

Unfortunately, after he finishes filing a report at the police station, he's dragged back to the show.

Shen Fei: Why is it so hard to slack off and get eliminated? Are all the netizens blind? Why do they keep voting for me?

Netizens: We've never seen anyone so talented and entertaining. He has to debut! We're begging him to debut!
