Great Tang: I Exceeded the Government's Matchmaking Quota

Lin Kai transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and becomes a poor scholar.

Having nothing but bare walls at home is no problem. Lin Kai obtains the System.

All he has to do is get married and have children to earn rewards!

As it happens, the local authorities send people to the village to provide wives.

So Lin Kai keeps getting married and having children, far exceeding the authorities' goal for marriage and childbirth!

Local official: "If you want to know why my county's record is so outstanding, it all goes back to that scholar!"

Minister: "Without Brother Lin Kai's support for marriage and childbirth, I could never have reached this position!"

Li Shimin: "I understand the reasoning! But someone has to explain to me why Lin Kai has more sons than I have imperial guards in the capital."

Just as Li Shimin is left dumbfounded, he discovers that Lin Kai's tax revenue can fund campaigns against the Turks in the north, the Tibetans in the west, and Goguryeo in the east!

Lin Kai's advances in people's livelihoods benefit the common folk, and the growing population makes up for the shortage in the Tang army!

The firearms and cannons Lin Kai invents can be mass-produced, giving the Tang Dynasty the means to conquer the world!

Li Shimin bursts into tears: "Brother Lin Kai, let's become sworn brothers tonight!"
