Old Factory Street: I'm Gao Qiqiang, the Boss!

In a world where various films and TV dramas collide, Gao Qiqiang is a fishmonger on Jiuchang Street, making a modest living and hoping only to support his younger siblings by selling fish. Then the local bullies, brothers Tang Xiaolong and Tang Xiaohu, start harassing him. With the help of police officer An Xin, he gets free of their entanglements. After frequent encounters, however, he becomes friends with the Tang brothers. When he helps them with a small favor by collecting a debt, he witnesses the debtor, Xu Lei, being electrocuted to death.

Xu Jiang, Xu Lei's father, is a notorious mob boss in Jinghai City. He searches everywhere for his son's killer and even buries a casino owner alive with his own hands.

Xu Jiang suspects Gao Qiqiang and the Tang brothers of killing Xu Lei and seeks revenge. Together with the police, Gao Qiqiang and the Tang brothers uncover what really happened, and Xu Jiang is shot dead by the police.

Gao Qiqiang later joins forces with Uncle Tai, gradually becoming the head of Uncle Tai's construction group, and eventually rises to become Jinghai City's leading mob boss.
