Hong Kong Films: Saving Ruan Mei from the Start, I'm a Model Cop

Lu Chen is reborn on Hong Kong Island in the 1980s.

The ICAC has only recently been established, and the Four Great Detectives have just fallen from power.

A large number of police officers have been purged.

With police numbers stretched thin, Hong Kong Island is in turmoil.

Lu Chen gets bound to the Super Detective System.

On his first day at work, he cracks a robbery case and makes a dashing rescue of Ruan Mei.

He causes a sensation across Hong Kong Island:

Chan Ka-kui: I used to be his team leader. Then he became my commissioner.

Ruan Mei: Brother Chen is so handsome.

Wu Luoxi: Ever since Lu Chen joined the police force, I haven't received another bonus.

Chow Sing-sing: Lu Chen stole my Model Police Officer title.

Lok Wai-chun: It is my honor to serve Brother Chen.

Chan Ho-nam: I'm a Red Pole, for goodness' sake, and he still took me down with his bare hands!

Tin Yeung-sang: Lu Chen's martial arts are unfathomable!

The people of Hong Kong Island have had their eyes opened. Who knew the police could be this formidable?

With his own strength alone, Lu Chen cleans up Hong Kong Island's scum and gives the city a bright future!
