Apocalypse: My Item Upgrades Went Completely Off the Rails

A virus breaks out, turning countless humans into zombies. In order to survive, people begin building shelters.

At this very moment, Jiang Yan not only unlocks a System space and stockpiles a huge amount of supplies, but can also upgrade items.

Upgrade a baseball bat: Its attack power increases by one hundred percent, but the price is that you'll develop a liking for rod-shaped objects. The effect lasts six hours, and the price is doubled for women.

Upgrade a knife: After you cut a target, the chance of causing tetanus rises to ninety percent. The price is that the knife's front becomes its back, so you can only attack people with the back of the blade, which has almost no killing power.

Upgrade a chainsaw: When the chainsaw roars, gold pours in by the thousands. It's a lumberjack's favorite tool. After using it, you'll fall madly in love with the feeling of chopping wood... If you want to stop, you have to shout three times: "We are lumberjacks!"

Looking at all the different upgrade attributes, Jiang Yan is completely dumbfounded.

The System is a good System, but have these damn attributes gone completely off track?
