Regency: You Took My Tiger Tally? I'll Slaughter the Chancellor and Make the Empress Cry

I shall govern as regent and decide the fate of the realm.

Xu Lin transmigrates into a world of martial arts and comprehensive wuxia, expands the realm's borders, and becomes a prince with the rare honor of sharing the emperor's status, commanding the military tally of an entire nation.

Just then, the previous emperor dies, and a young empress ascends the throne.

The court ministers offer treacherous advice, deceive the sovereign, collude with heretical cults, and attempt to seize the military tally and throw the court into chaos.

A million troops mass on the neighboring country's border, the Western Rong tribes watch covetously, and the various martial arts sects seek to meddle in government.

With threats within and without, Xu Lin returns alone from the western frontier to the capital.

As he beats the prime minister to death in the Golden Throne Hall, makes the empress cry, and decides to govern as regent, he unexpectedly activates the System.

As long as he issues suitable policies, he can earn all kinds of rewards.

Issue a first-grade decree: purge corrupt officials and confiscate their estates to replenish the empty treasury. Reward: power to break through a realm and twenty years of martial arts cultivation!

Issue a second-grade decree: droughts plague the north, corpses litter the land, and the people suffer. Build a canal to divert the southern waters north! Reward: three thousand Great Snow Dragon Riders!!

Issue a third-grade decree: abolish the exclusive veneration of Confucianism and encourage the flourishing of the Hundred Schools of Thought...
