A Perfect Life Under Someone Else's Control

Skyscrapers tower around me, and a million lights shine, yet there is nowhere for me to belong.

My closest kin, my friends and relatives, yet I am all alone.

I study late into the night and work diligently, but in the end, it all comes to nothing.

I am upright and always willing to help others, yet no one helps me, a failure.

I am not a lucky person.

I am not a clever person.

I am not an outstanding person.

I only want to be an ordinary person.
