Schizophrenia, as a severe mental illness second only to bipolar disorder, currently has no clear cause or specific external link. There are so many patients, some people use mental patients for human experiments, and do not treat the patients as dignified people; some parents imprison their sick children, do not provide medication and psychiatric treatment, and treat their children as animals; the ancient method of treating mental illness is to make a hole in the top of their head to leak out their white brains. In this environment, some film and television works regard schizophrenia and schizotypal personality disorder as the same disease and turn the disease into entertainment; some patients are not recognized by the environment, are abandoned by their families, and live on the streets; some patients have not received psychiatric treatment because their spirits are too painful, and they have embarked on the path of murder and crime, losing their freedom for the rest of their lives and being locked up in mental hospitals. I am here today, as a recovered schizophrenia patient, asking everyone here if you would have the courage to live if you experienced these hallucinations of mine.
