Showbiz: One Movie Emperor a Year, I Am Zhou Xingxing

My name is Zhou Xingxing. I transmigrate to a parallel world with a comedy System from the start.

What?

Comedy movies are considered low-class in this era?

There's no future in being a comedian?

Even Happy Mahua and Big Bowl Entertainment are barely scraping by.

No problem.

I'll use the comedians nobody else wants.

I'll make the comedy movies nobody else takes seriously.

I remake The Saint of Gamblers with Shen Teng, Ma Li, and Wei Xiang, and it breaks 100 million at the box office.

Huayi Brothers want me to help their stars shine? Sure.

I'll make Tricky Brains with Xiao Ming and Baby.

Who says being a leading actor guarantees stardom?

The major film awards look down on me and shut me out.

I don't care. I occupy every spot in the top ten highest-grossing Chinese-language films by myself.

Let's see which actor or director dares raise their voice at me.

One Best Actor award every year. I'm Zhou Xingxing.
