Great Ming: I'm a Rebel to the Core, and You Want Me to Be Crown Prince?

In the eleventh year of Hongwu, Zhu Gang transmigrated to the Ming Dynasty and took up his post as a prince, becoming the foremost of the Nine Frontier Princes. With great power in his hands, he made ample preparations for the future Jingnan Campaign.

Three years later, Zhu Yuanzhang, now much older, suddenly gained the ability to travel through time in his dreams, visiting any point in the Ming Dynasty's timeline.

When he saw that Zhu Biao would soon pass away, that Zhu Yunwen would turn against his own kin, and that the ruthless abolition of the fiefs would plunge the Ming into chaos, Zhu Yuanzhang was overcome with grief.

His fourth son, Zhu Di, bided his time before raising an army in Beiping and launching the Jingnan Campaign in the name of Heaven!

His third son, Zhu Gang, went straight into rebellion. With flintlock rifles, mighty general cannons, iron armor, and Liaodong cavalry, he smashed his way through both Zhu Yunwen and Zhu Di! He then led the Ming to glory and became an emperor for the ages!

Zhu Yuanzhang was stunned!

Just then, the censor-in-chief accused Zhu Gang of producing steel, building up troops, and plotting treason.

Old Zhu: "Rebellion? I see Prince Jin faithfully performing his duties. He's exactly the kind of man I like!"

As Zhu Yuanzhang learned more and more, his attitude changed just a tiny bit.

Years later, when Zhu Biao died, Zhu Yuanzhang issued an edict appointing Zhu Gang as crown prince.

Zhu Yunwen: "?"

Zhu Gang was completely baffled too: "I'm rebellious to the bone, and you want me to be crown prince?"
