Building a Modern Underworld!

A midnight bus takes Jin Hong to the underworld.

Evil ghosts devour people, but Jin Hong turns the tables with a Yin-Yang Jade he picked up on Mount Tai.

The underworld has fallen, the gods have vanished, and all that remains is a wasteland, piled high with corpses and cloaked in ghostly desolation. Only a lingering fragment of Ox-Head, one of the underworld marshals, remains at the Ghost Gate.

With the underworld on the brink of collapse, Jin Hong is entrusted with the task of rebuilding it.

Ox-Head A Pang says, "The first step in rebuilding the underworld is clearing away all this damn garbage. It's blocking the Ghost Gate so badly that it can't even open!"

Make him pick up garbage? Jin Hong has had enough of being an overworked wage slave in the mortal world. Now he wants to learn how to be a hands-off boss. So he turns his gaze to the ghosts and gives them a warm smile.

"The underworld is hiring garbage collectors. One Yin Qi Bead a day. Interested?"

The ghosts look at Jin Hong, Yin Qi Bead in one hand and whip in the other. Trembling, they pick up their shovels and silently grumble, "Did we have a choice?"

And so Jin Hong becomes the underworld's first construction boss, with tens of thousands of laborers under him, all hard at work rebuilding the place...
