Saving All Living Beings, Starting at the Great Electric Sound Temple

Jiang Li transmigrates to a world where Daoism is thriving and Buddhism is in decline.

The abbot of Xiaoxi Temple found him as a child and raised him to this day.

With the tide of the times turning against it, Xiaoxi Temple is on the verge of closing down.

Jiang Li resolutely takes up the banner of revitalizing Xiaoxi Temple.

Just then, he awakens the System for Delivering All Beings from Suffering.

Beginner's Quest: Rename Xiaoxi Temple to Great Thunderclap Temple. Reward: the electronic dance music version of the Heart Sutra.

Looking at the quest given by the System, Jiang Li suddenly understands. To restore Xiaoxi Temple and revive Buddhism, he has to reform!

From then on, the EDM version of the Heart Sutra takes the nation by storm.

Bars and nightclubs host Buddhist scripture dance parties, with tickets going for a fortune!

Online livestreams feature the senior elder of the Dharma Hall personally leading everyone through weight-loss and toning exercises!

There are even online blessing services, electronic wooden fish, zero-calorie vegetarian meals, and more, all available twenty-four hours a day.

In a short time, Buddhism begins to rise rapidly in this bizarre new form.

At last, Jiang Li stands above all living beings and proclaims:

"Chant electronic Buddhist scriptures, worship the Cyber Buddha!"

Only then do the Daoists realize that the times have changed!
