Showbiz: You Were Told to Film a Variety Show, So Why Are You Reforming the Entertainment Industry?

Chu Yuan transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a variety-show director.

Luckily, he activates a System and gains the right to produce variety shows independently.

Soon, everyone notices

that Chu Yuan's shows are completely unlike other variety programs:

Other shows have boys and girls race forward. Chu Yuan's has boys and girls die together.

Other singing shows have veteran singers or listeners as judges.

Chu Yuan hires animals as judges. If they don't like a performance, they chase the singer around and attack them...

For his New Life documentary, he sends a bunch of pretty-boy celebrities to the countryside to do farm work, while teaching the local farmers to sing, dance, and rap.

In the end, the pretty boys get completely overshadowed by the farmers.

For a food show, he makes the judges eat raw intestines.

For a talent show, he picks a few from a bunch of idols and permanently kicks them out of the entertainment industry...

"666, Brother Chu is ruthless!"

"Finally, someone's doing what I've always wanted to do!"

"I hereby declare that Brother Chu's shows have supplied all my laughs for the year!"

"Brother Chu, can we crowdfund it so you can eliminate a few more contestants?"
