Taichu

The Dao gives birth to One, One gives birth to Two, Two gives birth to Three, and Three gives birth to all things. But is there something else before the Dao? Who is it, and how did it come to be? Praise be to You. You are the progenitor of all things, the source of everything, and the creator of all that exists. All things were born because of You. You are omnipotent and omniscient, supreme above all, with none who can compare to You. Your every act is the Dao, the source of everything. Great Lord, You are my everything, and I shall follow You for all eternity.
