This is my first attempt at writing. Drawing on my own experiences and the stories I've heard over more than twenty years of growing up, this novel follows the tide of social progress and takes Zhiyu as its protagonist. It describes how an ordinary person can leave his own Langlang Mountain behind. Those dressed in silk and fine clothes are not the ones who raise silkworms. As the times have changed, some people have completely escaped the Langlang Mountain in their hearts, while others are still standing still. I believe that people are equal in dignity, though they differ in height, build, beauty, and appearance, and in their family circumstances, wealth, and connections. I have written this book for you to read, and hope that every ordinary person like the protagonist can leave the Langlang Mountain in their heart through their own efforts.
