Slacking Off in Another World

"Fan, the City Lord's residence is recruiting newcomers. Let's go give it a try!"

"No, no. Stop blocking the sun while I'm trying to soak it up." Lin Fan kept his eyes closed and waved away the person disturbing his nap.

"Fan, this is a rare opportunity. Once we join the City Lord's residence, we'll be able to learn a martial artist's cultivation techniques." The speaker's tone was almost pleading.

Lin Fan reluctantly opened his eyes and looked at his cousin, who had loved dragging him into all kinds of trouble since they were kids. He couldn't help feeling a headache coming on.

He felt around beneath his chair, pulled out a grimy booklet, and tossed it to his cousin.

"Take this and practice for now. Once you've mastered the basics, I'll go with you."

Lin Fan said lazily.

Then he closed his eyes again and pretended to nap.

Li Hu stared blankly at the booklet in his hands: the Yijin Jing.
