The Wandering Earth: I Want to Replace the Sun

Lin Haiyun, a transmigrator, refuses to let Earth become a wandering planet.

He researches a technique to extinguish the sun, then a way to create miniature suns, and hangs ten suns in the sky.

Unfortunately, he makes one too many.

Then he summons Hou Yi to shoot down the suns.

But Hou Yi proves unreliable and shoots a hole in the sky.

So he summons Nuwa to mend it.

Nuwa takes an exam, earns a top-level welding certificate, and gets to work repairing the sky.

The sky is barely fixed when a great flood strikes. Lin Haiyun summons Yu the Great to tame the waters.

Yu the Great has no license, and fails his second driving test. With no other choice, Lin Haiyun summons the Sea-Calming Divine Needle.

But a monkey steals it...

And so the world enters the Age of Exploration.

Lin Haiyun decides to set sail in search of the One Piece.

Along the way, he runs into his little brother and gets trapped in an illusion by the Mangekyo Sharingan for a thousand years.

A thousand years later, he emerges, carrying a thousand years of cultivation, and arrives at West Lake, where he meets Xu Xian...
