I Told You to Guard the City Gate, So Why Won't You Let Cao Cao In?

Su Hua transmigrated to the Eastern Han dynasty and became a gate commandant in Chang'an. To make the city's people feel safe, he established a whole series of rules and regulations!

Chang'an Prefect Gai Xun: "Oh, you little troublemaker! That's the emperor! Open the gates, now!"

Dong Zhuo: "I don't even have to take off my sword to attend court. How dare a mere gate commandant stop me?"

Emperor Liu Xie: "I only needed to pee. Why am I being sentenced to a week of street sweeping?"

Yang Feng: "Big Brother, open the gates! We need to get His Majesty out of here. We're waiting online... Hurry!"

Cao Cao and Yuan Shao: "Open the gates! We've come to rescue His Majesty!"

Liu Bei: "Third Brother, you're not allowed out until you've memorized all the rules here. Otherwise, that lunatic Su will arrest the three of us again!"

Whether he was promoted or demoted, Su Hua clung to his post as gate commandant like a stubborn squatter. He only finally left the job of guarding the city gates when the System upgraded, marking the moment a dragon escaped into the sea...
