Journey to the West: The Great Demon King Who Emerged from Langlang Mountain

After Tang Sanzang and his companions left Langlang Mountain, the Little Pig Demon managed to survive and obtained the three hairs Great Sage Sun had left behind.

At that moment, the Little Pig Demon acquired the Great Dao Choice System.

Choice 1: Bear the karma of all living beings and become the Heaven and Earth's Demon King of Sin. The more you kill, the stronger your karmic power becomes.

Choice 2: Become a demon on the spot and obtain the Great Dao of Devouring, allowing you to cultivate by devouring the living beings of the world.

The Little Pig Demon felt that both choices went against Great Sage Sun's original intention in saving him, so he chose neither.

He also wanted to become a Buddhist who upheld justice, helped the world, and saved people, just like Great Sage Sun.

So, after enduring countless hardships, the Little Pig Demon joined the Buddhist faith.

But then he accidentally heard that, because Great Sage Sun refused to submit to control, the Six-Eared Macaque would be made to take his place.

That day, Great Sage Sun died a brutal death at Western Spirit Mountain.

His faith shattered. Seeing through the world's hypocrisy, he took one thought and ascended to Heaven as a demon.

"Great Sage Sun, today I bear the karma of all living beings and abandon Heaven to forge my own path."

"One day, I will slaughter every god and Buddha in the heavens, and use the blood of this hypocritical world to forge your Dharma body..."
