From the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China to the early days of reform and opening up, Yangchun Hutong tells the story of two families in Yangchun Hutong. Yangchun Hutong is a small alley leading to Chalu Township from the main road near the railway station in Jilin City in the northeast. Dozens of families live in it. It mainly tells the story of two families, Tian Xingtang and Du Tiezhu, who became in-laws because of their mismatch.
