Hong Kong Films: I Choose the Cripple from Qingshan Road! Who Objects?

Chen Wending transmigrated into the world of Hong Kong gangster movies and became the right-hand man of the cripple, boss of the worst branch of Wo Shing Wo, on Castle Peak Road.

After awakening a System, he learned that if he helped the cripple become the gang's leader, they could rule Hong Kong.

At the time, the Castle Peak Road branch was Wo Shing Wo's worst. Its treasurer couldn't collect the dues each month, and the drug squad kept raiding its clubs because of the junkies from other branches.

More than a hundred old, weak, and infirm members struggled to get by running a few sashimi stalls.

Chen Wending: "Get lost! You're choosing a cripple with the legs of a jellyfish to be the boss? Aren't you afraid everyone will laugh at us? You might as well pick me. I'm tall, handsome, and look every bit the big boss!"

Fortunately, where there's a will, there's a way. Chen Wending launched a major shake-up, seized territory, and built up the business. He even took over Tsim Sha Tsui, which Wo Shing Wo hadn't touched in decades.

At the leadership election a few months later, Uncle Deng spoke at the meeting.

"The Cripple's branch has been on a roll this year. It's their turn."

Big D: "I can't take Tsim Sha Tsui in a week. I'll wait until the next election."

Lam Kwai-fung: "Can we have co-leaders?"

The Cripple: "Actually, I don't..."

Uncle Deng, terrified: "Shut up! If they tell you to do it, then do it. Do a good job and you can keep the position for another two years!"
