Reborn: Saving the Bear from Prison

Du Kuan, a modern-day university student, is reborn in the winter of 1988 inside Omsk Oblast Prison, where he becomes a wrongly accused inmate.

At the time, under Gorbachev's chaotic, slash-and-burn reforms, the economies of the Big Bear Alliance's various regions are on the verge of collapse. Ambitious schemers and gangsters seize their chance, trying to plunder the most precious flesh and blood of this giant bear!

Starting out as a fugitive, Du Kuan takes over the Omsk Refinery, improves workers' lives, promotes agricultural development, and puts down social unrest. In just a few months, he turns Omsk into the brightest star in the Big Bear Alliance!

With this record behind him, he rises into the upper ranks. Using the twin tools of economics and propaganda, he manages to haul a runaway carriage back from the edge of a cliff!

Improving people's livelihoods, advancing education, and getting involved in geopolitics, Du Kuan takes one step at a time, bringing the collapsing alliance back to the top of the world.

"I'm just an ordinary person who did a little bit of insignificant work." So said Mikhail Du.
