A Prince Experience Card, Not a Prince Experience, Snap!

I, Ye Guxing, am gifted beyond compare. I could recite Tang poems at three and had mastered the Thousand Character Classic by five.

At eight, I was preparing to take the imperial examinations and earn an official title, only to be told I wasn't allowed to sit for the exams.

The reason? I was ugly. Luckily, there was still hope: there was a gold mine beneath my family's land.

I swore I'd dig up the gold, sell it, and buy myself an official post overseeing the imperial examinations.

Then I could abolish that idiotic rule barring ugly people from taking the exams.

Unexpectedly, an accident activated the System and gave me a Prince Experience Card.

A prince might not oversee the imperial examinations, but the emperor listens to everything he says, and the emperor has authority over everything.

That should count as getting my wish, more or less.

But the Experience Card had a time limit. Once the seven days were up, I'd be called away, ka-ching.

A perfectly good Prince Experience Card turned into a Prince Experience, ka-ching...
