Journey to the West: I Betray Buddhism from the Start and Beat the Tar Out of the Tathagata!

Reborn in Journey to the West, with the System at his side, he became the fated Pilgrim, Master Sanzang.

"The Mad Monk Daoji can drink wine and eat meat. Why should I live on wind and dew and suffer on my pilgrimage?"

What's so great about going on a pilgrimage?

So many doomed-to-die fairies and demons need a powerful protector and a warm home.

Tang Sheng decided to turn his back on Buddhism!

He defeated the World-Honored One, Tathagata, and abolished all Buddhist scriptures in Southern Jambudvipa!

Going on a pilgrimage was out of the question, but spreading the Buddhist teachings through Journey to the West was a possibility!

When Tang Sheng united the human race and spread the Dao through Journey to the West, the two sages bowed their heads, and the Buddhas willingly became his oxen and horses!
