The Ginkgo Forest

Ginkgo Forest is a science-fiction romance novel.

After the year 5800, Earth faces another solar wind crisis. Dr. Hou Yi, a computer and biological sciences expert, leads a team of geophysicists in successfully developing a nuclear-powered propulsion system for Earth based on wormhole theory. With the help of the Cosmic Alliance Center, Earth completes its migration to the Liuyun star system over the course of 1,200 years. The story follows Jiayi's artistic pursuits and love life during this time. Later, on the planet Los, Jiayi meets Qiu Na Di, a native of Los, and they fall in love. To make it possible for the couple to live on Los, where the atmosphere is primarily carbon dioxide, their friends begin an experiment to grow trees on the planet. In the end, ginkgo trees take root on Los and are planted on a vast scale, eventually growing into a ginkgo forest. Jiayi and Qiu Na Di, lovers from different planets, finally find happiness together.
