Journey to the West: Stop Laying Low and Call Your Ancestors!

Reborn during the Dragon-Han Cataclysm, Ao Buzun witnessed the brutal struggles of the primordial world and was so terrified that he dived into the depths of the sea and began cultivating in seclusion.

And so he remained in seclusion for countless years.

After that, the Witch and Demon Clans fell one after another, and humanity rose to power.

The dragons of the Four Seas discovered that their ancient ancestor, Ao Buzun, was still around and repeatedly asked him to leave seclusion, but he refused no matter what.

The East Sea Dragon King went to Ao Buzun for help. "Dragon Ancestor, my son was killed by the demon brat of Chentang Pass, who ripped out his tendons. Please seek justice for your descendants!"

Ao Buzun was unmoved. "This is too trivial to require my intervention. Go to Zhao Gongming of the Jie Sect instead. He's actually my disciple. Have him take care of it."

The Investiture of the Gods tribulation passed, and the great Journey to the West tribulation was about to begin.

The new East Sea Dragon King came to find Ao Zong, crying out, "Please stand up for the dragon clan, Ancestor! A monkey wreaked havoc in my palace and stole our clan's treasure, and Heaven refuses to intervene. Your descendants are suffering!"

Ao Buzun glanced at his own cultivation and declared with confidence, "Wait until your ancestor leaves seclusion!"
