Great Ming: Starting by Draining Old Zhu's Treasury

After transmigrating to the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Zhen discovered that he had become Old Zhu's sixth son.

In other words, he was the Ming Dynasty's sixth prince.

In the early years of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang repeatedly sent troops to campaign in the north, determined to wipe out the remnants of the Mongol Yuan forces.

Seeing that the imperial treasury was running dry, Zhu Zhen simply diverted the remaining three million taels of silver for his own use.

Just as the army was about to receive its funding, Old Zhu discovered that the treasury was empty.

"Sixth Son, where's the silver from the treasury?"

"I spent it!"

"What? You spent the three million taels of silver meant to fund the campaign against the northern territories?"

"What are we supposed to do about the army now?"

"Sixth Son, I'll break your legs!"
