I Handed Over Controlled Nuclear Fusion from the Start to Get Citizenship

A question on a certain Chinese Q&A site unexpectedly went viral online.

"If I hand over controlled nuclear fusion technology, can I become a citizen of Huaxia?"

Netizens joked in response.

"You'd get more than just Huaxia citizenship!"

"You could even apply to become an academician!"

So Luo Bin went ahead and handed over the controlled nuclear fusion technology.

Many years later,

a reporter interviewed Luo Bin, chief engineer at Huaxia Interstellar Technologies.

"As a Chinese American living in the United States, why did you hand over controlled nuclear fusion technology?"

"Was it only to become a Huaxia citizen?"

"All right..."

"Actually, three generations of my family have been spies undercover in the United States!"
