Journey to the West: I Just Became a True Dragon, and Now I'm Being Sent to Govern the Jing River?

He transmigrated to the world of Journey to the West. Having been a wage slave in his previous life, worked to death by the 996 grind, Dao Chen wanted nothing more than to lie flat. He'd claim a small pond, become its little Dragon King, and have a whole bunch of dragon sons and daughters.

But then an imperial decree from the Heavenly Court arrived.

Decree: Dao Chen, Dragon King of Heavenly Water Pond, is hereby appointed Dragon King of the Jing River. Take up your post at once!

Watching the Heavenly Court's messenger vanish in the blink of an eye, Dao Chen stared at the decree in his hands.

He was dumbfounded!

What?

He was now the Dragon King of the Jing River?

And he was going to get beheaded?

Was his life of lying flat over?

His life of lying flat was over? Impossible! That would never happen in this lifetime!

Just as Dao Chen was racking his brains for a way to escape the Journey to the West calamity and lie flat in peace, the Dream Teaching System unexpectedly awakened.

He could earn ten-thousandfold rewards simply by teaching the Dao in dreams.

From then on, Dao Chen taught the Dao in dreams while lying flat.

Years later, the Journey to the West calamity began.

Looking at the army rebelling against Heaven, the Jade Emperor was dumbfounded.

Sha Wujing: "Your Majesty, it's not that I wanted to betray you. Dao Chen just offered me too much!"
