Genshin Impact: Adopting Little Yae Miko from the Start

Bai Di transmigrates to ancient Inazuma. All he wants is to be a lazy bum, so he sits on Mt. Yougou to admire the moon.

By chance, he meets Kitsune Saiguu, the chief priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine, and adopts Yae Miko when she's still a little fox kit.

Raiden Makoto: "If it were you, that might be a kind of eternity, too!"

Sasayuri: "I've wanted to tell you something ever since we first met. I've been holding it in for so long that I can't keep quiet anymore!"

Mikoshi Chiyo: "I don't want to lose myself. I refuse to be defeated by the Abyss. Bai Di, help me!"

Kitsune Saiguu: "I have the strongest memory, yet all I remember is that what foxes love is the human world!"

Many, many years later, the Traveler arrives in Teyvat.

Paimon: "What, you're Bai Di?"

"Wow, legends about you are told all over Teyvat!"
