This is a land called the Kingdom of Heroes, though that was long ago. Many years ago, the ** Demons rose up and invaded the country. The heroes and the army fought back together, but in the end they were defeated. After losing the direct confrontation, the heroes retreated to the countryside and remote regions, where they began cultivating the next generation of fighters, hoping to drive the demons from their homeland. The new generation of heroes did indeed become a force the demon clans could not afford to underestimate. Just as the demon clans were retreating at every turn, however, the country's ruler ordered the army to attack the heroes. The king had already submitted to the ** Demon Minister. This tragic campaign came to be known as the "Demon-Sweeping War."
