Global Beast Taming: I’m a Necromancer Knight, and I Scared Hu Tao to Tears

Wen Yang transmigrates to a world where everyone can command spirit beasts. But forget summoning one: even approaching a wild spirit beast is enough to scare it away.

One day, while searching the forest for a spirit beast that isn't afraid of him, he finds a young girl wearing a Qiankun Taigua hat, Hu Tao, performing a rite to send the Archon Nahida on her way.

Wen Yang also discovers that although he can't make contact with living spirit beasts, he can control the souls of dead ones and return them to their bodies, making them stand up on their stiff limbs.

And so, the Archon Nahida is resurrected!

Hu Tao: Impossible! Absolutely impossible!

Later, Hu Tao goes to the Dragon Empire to perform a rite for the First General, Raiden Ei, and Wen Yang once again puts Raiden Ei's soul back in her body.

Hu Tao: Again?

Later still, Hu Tao goes to the powerful Gan Family to perform a rite for a young qilin that died in childbirth. Wen Yang does it again... and again.

Hu Tao breaks down crying.

Years later, a whole crowd of female ghosts has gathered around Wen Yang, earning him the title of Ghost Rider.
