A Childhood Throwback: Let the Kids See What Real Anime Is

Su Chen transmigrated and became a content editor for Channel Six.

Faced with ratings that had been plummeting year after year, the station asked for suggestions on how to turn things around.

Su Chen proposed a special program reminiscing about the eighties and nineties. The station supported the idea!

Three days later, the first episode, counting down the top 100 cartoons from childhood, aired.

A viewer: “Holy crap! My dead memories just attacked me!”

pdd: “What! The Brave of Light is only number thirty-seven? That’s way too low! What cartoon could possibly rank above it?”

Boss Yang: “Naruto is only number twenty?! Come on, Channel Six!”

Liu Tianxian: “Sob, Detective Conan didn’t even make the top five?”

When the number one spot was finally revealed, the whole internet erupted!

Well deserved!

“Son, quit watching Paw Patrol and Boonie Bears all day! Watch what your dad watched as a kid! Now those were cartoons!”

“Daddy, the cartoons you watched when you were little are so good!”
