Great Ming: Are You Crazy? Starting a Cult in Old Zhu's Ancestral Land!

In the eighth year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang accompanies the gravely ill Empress Ma back to their hometown to recuperate.

When they arrive in Fengyang, they are astonished to find the people living in peace and prosperity, with all sorts of novel and strange things appearing one after another. The place is even better off than the capital, Yingtian.

Zhu Yuanzhang is delighted, thinking it is all thanks to his own wisdom and ability to put the right people in the right positions.

But after ordering the Embroidered Uniform Guard to investigate, he is utterly dumbfounded.

None of it has anything to do with Zhu Yuanzhang. It is all the work of Ye Ling, the leader of the True Martial Holy Church.

The common people, merchants, and officials all worship Ye Ling, believing he is the reincarnation of the True Warrior, an immortal descended to earth to save the suffering and deliver the people from misery.

The True Martial Church has tens of thousands of followers and assets worth tens of millions. Its influence in Fengyang surpasses even that of the government.

Zhu Yuanzhang is so furious that he laughs.

"This is obviously a cult! You dare start a cult in my ancestral homeland? You've got some nerve!"
