Siheyuan: The System Forced Me Into a Marriage, and Now I Have a Cute Baby

Sun Dachi gets struck by lightning for complaining about the Beastly Courtyard.

An unscrupulous System forcibly drags him to the Beastly Courtyard, a Beijing quadrangle from 1961.

To complete the System's first mission,

he has no choice but to win over 21-year-old He Yushui. But her brother, He Yuzhu, catches them after it's already too late.

He Yuzhu, who knows a few martial arts moves, breaks Sun Dachi's leg. With no other choice, Sun Dachi quickly flees the courtyard.

Once the Forceful System activates, it heals Sun Dachi's leg and forces him to enlist in the army and fight for the empire.

Meanwhile, the Beastly Courtyard is in an uproar.

He Yushui has lost her virginity and is pregnant.

The courtyard's First, Second, and Third Masters, along with Granny Jia, berate and lecture her relentlessly.

Silly Zhu has no words to defend himself. In a fit of anger, he sends his sister to live with Deaf Granny.

In 1962, He Yushui gives birth to a pair of adorable babies and struggles to make ends meet.

Her brother offers no help.

Instead, he supports Granny Jia's family.

The beasts of the courtyard even curse her, while Deaf Granny is helpless and forced to kick Yushui out.

Then, in 1966, Sun Dachi returns from the army.
