No, No, No, I Just Want to Stay Home and Farm

Classmate 1: "Shufei, what are you planning to do after graduation?"

Shufei answered honestly, "Go back to my hometown and farm."

Classmate 2: "Why would a promising young man want to farm? Your hometown is some run-down place in the middle of nowhere. Why go back? Aren't you worried you'll waste your potential? Come work at my dad's company. If you do well, you could be a manager within a year."

Shufei calmly declined. "No thanks. I'm going back home to farm. And my hometown isn't run-down."

His classmates: "..."

Later, when his classmates learned that Shufei's hometown was Old Tree Village, they fell silent.

It really wasn't a run-down place.

It was just a little village in a top-tier city.

And Shufei really did farm there. He hadn't been lying.
