Siheyuan: I Have a Life-Changing Wheel

After his uncle Wang Dashou, a model worker, passes away, country boy Wang Tian is summoned by the steel mill to inherit the two rooms Wang Dashou owned in the courtyard house.

With them, he also inherits Wang Dashou's social ties, feuds, and grievances.

Honest and slow-witted, Wang Tian is no match for the courtyard's unruly residents.

They take advantage of him again and again, and though furious, he dares not speak up. All he can do is suffer in silence.

To make matters worse, on the night of the incident, He Yuzhu and the others deliberately get him drunk.

That is what finally kills him, leaving him to die full of grievances.

Just then, a young man from the modern era named Wang Tian transmigrates into his body, replacing the hapless country boy.

Thus, Wang Tian inherits the karma, social ties, feuds, and grievances accumulated by his uncle and nephew, Wang Dashou and Wang Tian.

From then on, Wang Tian begins a life of dealing with the courtyard's unruly residents and taking pleasure in putting them in their place.
