You Said to Modify It as You Saw Fit, So Why Did You Turn a Tractor into a Tank?

Jiang Chen is reborn in the year 2000 and becomes an apprentice at a machinery factory. He also activates the Over-the-Top Modification System.

Anything industrial can be modified.

As it happens, his factory is competing with several other firms in the industry for a million-dollar foreign exchange contract.

The client's requirements are especially demanding, so the factory forms a large task force to tackle the challenge and secure the order.

Jiang Chen wants to get involved too, but nobody takes an apprentice seriously.

They just toss him a tracked tractor that has been out of commission for years and tell him to see what he can do with it.

You told me to do whatever I wanted with it.

Jiang Chen stares at the tracked tractor, his resolve hardening.

Ten days later, after the client rejects every proposal from the factory and everyone is looking dejected, Jiang Chen suddenly bursts in driving a brand-new tank.

"We told you to do whatever you wanted with the tractor, and you turned it into a tank?" The factory director stares at Jiang Chen, utterly astonished that he has modified a tractor into a tank.

Is this something an apprentice can do?
