A Certain Scientific Beast Tamer

In a world of beast taming, everyone has a chance to awaken a Beast Codex at the age of fourteen.

Only those who awaken a Beast Codex can form contracts with spirit beasts and become Beast Tamers.

When Wen Hao successfully awakens his, he is surprised to find that his Beast Codex seems a little different.

"Why can your white fox unleash such a huge fireball? That's not scientific!"

"What's unscientific about it? I've just combined knowledge and technology. Don't you understand how technology improves our lives?"

Wen Hao answers with complete confidence.

Armed with a Beast Codex once known in his old world as a "game cheat," Wen Hao sets out on a path of "scientific" beast taming that seems utterly unscientific to everyone else.
