Gourmet: The Whole World Is Drooling, but Pickle Nation Won't Admit It

Lin Yu gets a Super Gourmet System and opens a restaurant.

A bowl of egg fried rice served with pickles made using a secret traditional recipe wins over an exchange student from Pickle Country at the first bite.

Lin Yu speaks the language of Pickle Country, so the exchange student assumes they're fellow countrymen. He enthusiastically brings his classmates from Eagle Sauce Country and Cherry Blossom Country, who are also studying abroad, to eat at Lin Yu's restaurant, proudly introducing the food.

"Pickles from my country, Pickle Country, are the most delicious in the world."

Lin Yu realizes his pickles have been mistaken for something else and immediately explains, "These are Dragon Country pickles made with a secret traditional recipe. They have nothing to do with Pickle Country."

The exchange student from Pickle Country instantly changes his tune: "Actually, they taste pretty ordinary."

Lin Yu's restaurant is packed with people lining up every day. Those who can't get a spot grow desperate and beg him to raise the prices to ease the lines.

Foreigners who've tried Beiyu's cooking all say it's delicious. Only Pickle Country calls it awful.

When someone films people from Pickle Country eating at Lin Yu's restaurant and practically licking their plates clean, the video sparks heated discussion online.

"They clearly ate it all, but still insist it tastes awful. When it comes to stubborn denial, Pickle Country is number one in the world."
